U of Miami features OTB ball at Celebrity Charity Event!

“More than 100 bowlers, joined 18 University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame members and more than a dozen other former UM student-athletes, who gathered at Splitsville in South Miami for the 3rd Annual UM Sports Hall of Fame Celebrity Bowling Tournament on Monday, February 24th.  The Event raised funds for the Hall of Fame, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.”

The special 2014 University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame Celebrity Bowling Tournament ball, made by On The Ball Bowling, signed by more than 40 celebrities, that was sold in a live auction to raise funds for the UM Sports Hall of Fame.

Miami Dolphins player Olivier Vernon signs the special tournament bowling ball, signed by more than 40 celebrities, that was sold in a live auction to raise funds for the UM Sports Hall of Fame.

“Among the celebrity bowler were 1992 Heisman Trophy winner Gino Torretta, Indianapolis Colts star Reggie Wayne, former Washington Redskin Clinton Portis, UM Baseball Coach Jim Morris, current Miami Dolphin Olivier Vernon and many other former Hurricanes greats.  The Top Celebrity Bowler was 2014 ACC Legend Steve Edwards.  Top Overall Bowler was former UMSHoF President Ed Golden.”
