Popular St. Louis radio personality Kenny “Iggy” Strode commissioned OnTheBallBowling.com to create an exclusive, one-of-a-kind bowling ball for one of America’s most popular and iconic entertainers in modern pop culture, and bowler, Lady Gaga.

OnTheBallBowling.com has quickly become the “go-to” company creating one-of-a-kind bowling products (balls/pins) for America’s most rich and famous celebrities from the sports and entertainment worlds. “We’ve created exclusively designed bowling balls for Grammy Award winning singer-songwriters John Legend and Kid Rock, the Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade, Philadelphia Eagles LeSean McCoy, Dallas Cowboys Jason Witten and the NBA World Champion Dallas Maverick’s Shawn Marion to drop just a few names” says John Harbuck, OnTheBallBowling’s VP of Marketing and Product Development.

A self-proclaimed “Little Monster” himself, “Iggy” as his fans refer to him, couldn’t have been more pleased with the bowling ball OnTheBallBowling created for Lady Gaga, aka Mother Monster. Strode is working on and soon hopes to schedule an interview with Lady Gaga.

Like Lady Gaga, Strode is a tireless advocate for building awareness, education and prevention of bullying and cyber-bullying in our children’s daily environment. He serves on the board of directors for the Megan Meier Foundation which is headquartered near St. Louis.

Adds Strode, “Lady Gaga is a true “fashionista”… it only makes sense that she has her very own exclusively designed bowling ball for her next trip to the local bowling lanes. The design team at OnTheBallBowling nailed it, the ball makes a statement and it fits her personality perfectly”.

About Kenny “Iggy” Strode

“Iggy” Strode has been in the Radio Business since 1992. He started his Kegglers Corner show 13 years ago with Bo Burton and Dick Weber and continues it today with his Co-Host Alena Matthews. ESPN considered Iggy one of the top 5 Sports Producers in the country when they offered him a job back in 2001.

Besides Producing and hosting shows, Iggy also conducts interviews for his Straight to Web Celebrity interviews on kfns.com and insidstl.com. Some of his interviews include, Lindsay Lohan, Tara Reid, Anne Heche, Grace Slick, Stevie Nicks, Clarence Clemons, Mickey Mantle, Derek Jeter and Tiger Woods. He hopes to add Lady Gaga to that list very soon.

Danny Mohabir, GM for AMF’s Garden City Lanes called on the Girl Scouts of Nassau County NY in hopes of generating some goodwill with one of America’s most well known and respected organizations. What he got was an Open House event attended by over 250 Girl Scouts, parents and supporters. Asked how he pulled this off Danny states “I believe it is important to book open house events as it leads our business to new opportunities. I have booked well over 100 events through open houses in the past year…it is a great way to meet the community and reach potential bowlers.”

Phase 2 of Danny’s plan was to foster this newly formed relationship into other areas of his business. One of the hooks Danny needed was a unique league offering to motivate Girl Scouts to sign up for the league. That’s where OnTheBallBowling.com comes in…”we designed an exclusive Girl Scout Bowling Ball for Danny and we got it approved by the Girl Scouts national organization. The ball features the Girl Scout logo on the front and the Girl Scout’s Law on the back…it’s a great design, the Girl Scouts loved it and we’re encouraging other AMF centers to utilize it to form Girl Scout Leagues all over the country.” says John Harbuck, EVP of OnTheBallBowling.com.

The event was listed on the Nassau County Girl Scout website which promotes to over 20,000 girls scouts, and Danny was even invited to attend Girl Scout events in the local malls. “Prior to receiving the invitation from the Girl Scouts, I had tried to get into the local malls to promote our center, but the fee to do so is $1500 per day. Talk about free publicity!” adds Danny. In total, Danny says his Girl Scout Leagues have floored over a hundred bowlers which has generated positive publicity and incremental food and beverage sales for the center. As an added bonus, five parents booked their daughters’ birthday parties at the center on the first day of the league. Danny is working on the next Girl Scout league and expects a turnout of 100 – 150 bowlers based on what he has heard from the parents.

Just like many other celebrity sports star, Jeff Gordon held a bowling charity event on July 28, 2011 in Indianapolis to raise funds for the Riley Hospital for Children. Jeff Gordon’s Children’s Foundation celebrated their 10th year in support of the hospital.

Since its first gift in 2001, The Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation has donated more than $1.58 million to Riley Hospital for Children. In addition, Gordon made a pledge of $1.5 million to Riley Children’s Foundation in 2010, establishing the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation Pediatric Cancer Research Fund. The fund provides vital resources for Riley Hospital/Indiana University School of Medicine researchers seeking to impact treatments, therapies and cures.

About Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation:
Since its inception in 1999, The Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation has awarded nearly $10 million to the country’s top childhood health organizations. These organizations are instrumental in helping tens of thousands of children facing serious illness. The partnerships developed over the years have brought much needed aid to patients and families with incredible financial burdens, provided life-saving medical treatment and help to fund promising new cancer research and treatment programs.

About Riley Children’s Foundation
Riley Children’s Foundation supports Riley Hospital for Children, Camp Riley and the James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home. As Indiana’s only comprehensive hospital dedicated exclusively to the care of children, Riley Hospital has provided compassionate care, support and comfort to children and their families since 1924. Each year children from all 92 Indiana counties turn to Riley Hospital and its regional clinics throughout the state more than 250,000 times. Riley Hospital’s partnership with IU Health and its strong affiliation with the Indiana University School of Medicine make Riley Hospital for Children the leader in pediatric care in the state and the region.
They created quite a stir at International Bowl Expo this summer with these eye catching bowling balls as great marketing tools to serve shots, coffee, beer or desserts in.

You can see other designs they have made. What a great idea!

What ideas can you put OnTheBall or unique ways to use our products for yourself? The ideas are limitless!

OnTheBallBowling.com offers many sports teams on bowling balls, small balls and bowling pins. The next time you go to a meet and greet of your favorite athlete you can get them to autograph your OTB product.

Kyle Busch, the NASCAR driver autographed his bowling ball with OTB. He recently won a race in West Michigan at the Berlin Raceway, where we got his autograph.

You can do this with any of our products such as NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, NASCAR, College and of course the PBA! For those, “non-bowler” athletes, we’re sure the athlete will think it’s pretty cool to be signing a bowling ball or pin vs. a boring photo card, poster or shirt.
